The Dalí Theatre-Museum keeps the largest collection of Salvador Dalí works in the world, and it's one the most visited museums in Spain.
Inaugurated in 1974, the Dalí Theatre-Museum rises on the remains of the former Municipal Theatre of Figueres, and old theatre very special to Dalí, where he exhibited his first two works, and is considered to be the last great work of Salvador Dalí. Everything in it was in fact conceived and designed by the artist himself, so as to offer visitors a real experience and draw them into his unique and captivating world. It's the second most visited museum in Spain, after the Prado Museum in Madrid.
